Amarugia Ridge Runners Playing at the Hemp Fest!

We’re excited to announce that the Amarugia Ridge Runners will be providing live music for a couple of hours at our Native Prairie Hemp Fest on November 5, 2022!

About the Band

The Amarugia Ridge Runners are a group of local musicians based out of Archie, Missouri. Their name comes from the Amarugia Highlands conservation area south of Freeman, Missouri and roughly 49 miles south of Kansas City, Missouri. They are a group of young and adventurous musicians raised in the deep history and folklore surrounding the highlands. The Amarugia Highlands have historically been home to mysteries, moonshiners and music. Their connection to this land and love of the rich history has drawn them together. They perform a mix of folk, blues, old country, and bluegrass. They all come together to create amazing music and long-lasting memories.

About the Event

The First Annual Native Prairie Hemp Fest will bring together businesses, growers, and consumers interested in the hemp industry. The event will feature educational workshops on hemp fiber, hemp production equipment, and CBD production. Event attractions include live music, vendors, fresh food and BBQ, farm tours, and more.
